Back To Biking.

Passed your test some time ago & haven't been riding for a while?

Our refresher training could be just what you're looking for. Our aim is to build confidence & to bring your riding skills right up to date.

Coming back to biking you unfortunately fall into a category of being at a greater risk of being involved in a road accident, bearing in mind that the traffic volume will have changed considerably as will the speed & power of today's bikes.

Sadly history has shown us that we very rarely learn from our mistakes & what may well have been a very minor accident some years ago could well be more serious today.

why train with us

Course Details:

If you plan to use one of our motorcycles we will start the day with a full introduction to the motorcycle controls.

  • We will then take the opportunity to discuss your ability & previous riding experience, while giving you the chance to tell us about the areas you would like us to focus on.
  • We will then move on to some slow speed & progressive riding skills on our off road training area using our mock junctions practicing correct observations & road positions before moving out onto the public road whilst using full radio contact. Basic road safety is always vital when re-learning to ride, so our minimum aim is to make your riding safe. We'll concentrate on machine control & general road sense, before looking to enhance your riding ability.
  • We will finish with a brief discussion on observed strengths & weakness & further training requirements if needed.

If there are particular roads or scenarios you would like a reintroduction to ie, motorways, town riding or filtering etc then please do not hesitate in mentioning this to your instructor.

Safety helmet & all protective motorcycle clothing will be provided if required.
