Accelerated Access (A2)
Once you have successfully completed a Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) & passed your theory test you may chose to go on & take a practical motorcycle test. If you are under 21 years old then an accelerated access course is the only practical test you can take.
All the training & the test is carried out on one of our 125cc motorcycles. Completing the course & the practical test on this size machine will allow you to ride any bike although the power must be restricted to 33bhp for the first two years. After this time your licence automatically matures to allow you to ride any size bike without restriction.
The test is split into two modules, each taken separately. During module one you will be required to carry out a number of slow & high speed exercises on an off road test area.
The training will take place on our extensive training area which provides ample room for the manoeuvres to be carried out safely in the same environment as you will experience during your test. The training & test for module one will take place over two days & once you have successfully passed this module you will be presented with a test Past Certificate which will enable you to continue on to module two.
The test for module two consists of 40 minutes of road riding. The training for this module will take place in the town where you will be tested. During the course you will familiarise yourself with the test routes & cover a variety of road traffic conditions. You will be in radio contact with your instructor at all times & no more than two students will be taken out with each instructor.
We have achieved a very high pass rate in both modules & are in a prime location to be able to offer the necessary area & facilities to provide the required training. Training for both modules is offered 7 days a week & payment can be made separately for each module.
